Curl Up & Dye hair salon and barbers caters for ladies, men offering a wide range of hairdressing services such as clipping, cutting, styling and blow drying as well as colours, highlights, low lights corrective colouring, foils, perming and setting.

After 40 years in the Norwich Street premises it was time for a change and to move on to larger premises to allow the business to grow and offer more services. Now located in the listed Bond House in a great position in the Dereham High Street, Curl Up and Dye is a spacious salon spread over two floors with a number of treatment rooms.

Owner Darren Edwards trained at the Van’s Straten school of hairdressing and Diane hair international in Cambridge. Darren opened Curl Up and Dye which has been established since 1983 soon after obtaining his level 2 diploma in all aspects of hairdressing.

Having been in the business for over 40 years Darren has huge experience to draw from, having seen fashions come and go but really knowing what best suits a customer and how they can get the best out of their hair whilst fitting around their lifestyle. Customers can be confident that they will receive a true and honest opinion from the salon staff so that they come away happy.

Darren is proud to have trained a number of staff who have gone on to open successful businesses of their own.

Curl Up and Dye has a chatty and comfortable atmosphere so anyone, no matter what age or style, can feel comfortable coming in.

Pierced Off Piercing Studio

Pierced Off Piercing Studio opened in 1996, Darren has trained with a professional piercer in all aspects of piercing and sterilisation, human anatomy, skin layers and first aid and is a registered Cosmetic Piercer with Breckland Council. Darren’s experience means that he has seen and dealt with many things over the years. From misplaced earrings to moving a belly button piercing after a tummy tuck.

Pierced Off will pierce ears on any age (all piercings for under 16s require parental consent) using a Studex Ear Piercing Gun suitable for lobe piercings. A wide choice of studs are available; gold, silver, large or small, including birth stones. Where hoops are the preferred option piercing will be carried out using needles. All other piercings are done with single use cannula pre sterilised body can needles.

All our jewellery is made of grade A titanium, P.T.F.E Bio Comp Jewellery Hermite can be used for people with Nickle allergies, other materials are available.

All instruments are sterilized in an ultra sonic bath and auto claved or are disposable.
